Armstrong is the President of CCDI’s Board of Directors. She came to the United States in 1981 as a refugee and is currently a licensed vocational nurse for the Central Health Center in Oakland, CA, where she provides health support services to the Cambodian community. She also worked at Kaiser for 5 years. A trusted and respected member of the community, Ms. Armstrong has worked tirelessly to support greater access to resources and ensure culturally competent health services for Cambodian Americans for almost 17 years. Ms. Armstrong has a BS in Medical Science from Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
